first_imgUPDATE: Traffic has now returned to normal and this accident has cleared. The A53 iwas partially blocked due to an accident in Newcastle Borough this afternoon. Inrix, the traffic data company, reported the A53 Etruria Road was affected in both directions. The accident took place between Basfrod Roundabout and Albert Street. We have no further information about the nature of the vehicles involved. Inrix first reported the accident at 4.13pm this afternoon (Sunday November 25).
